The ubiquitous luau was a must on this trip. I really had no preference which one to see, but decided on the luau at the Hyatt Regency. It featured more than just dances from Hawaii, but from all over Polynesia including Tahiti.
The dancers were entertaining, the singer was pretty good, and the food was terrific. I had a great time, as any tourist would.
Who am I kidding? The star of this luau were these 2 chunky monkeys.
Hubba hubba....

Maui 2011 (Part 7)
Might look like any swath of beach, but on the south side of Maui, there's Big Beach. We spent the afternoon here and gave my SPF 85 a workout. Certainly not very many tourists, but mainly locals. The whole place was gorgeous and the shave ice was yummy!
Forget Bo Derek, imagine Tom Selleck running in slow motion...
Yeah, it wasn't like that at all, but imagine...
Wish I was there.
Of course Henri wanted to be a lifeguard but couldn't pass the height requirement. Poor chap.
