Bryn Terfel "Bad Boys"

The Big Man has a new CD out! He sings some of his famous roles, but some songs he has never sung. I love this man and have seen him in recital (hopefully getting tickets again!). Can't wait to buy this disc. Here is a 5 minute clip of him discussing the project, plus some bits from the new CD.

Barbecue Pizza

Thanks Rex! Thanks Darla! A great night with friends, not to mention the hands-on experience of making my own pizza. I'm definitely adding this to my barbecue recipes.

Not to forget, the salads. The grass on the right was store bought (but good ) and the other was a refreshing cucumber, watermelon with feta concoction. Mmm, delicious!

Devo "Fresh" on Colbert Report

They haven't had a new release in 20 years. They're a bit older, bloated, and gray, but sound... well, fresh.

Here they are on the Colbert Report. I kinda missed the spooky half mask they wore on the Letterman show eariler in the week. But I couldn't embed that clip. Regardless, cool song. Reminds us that rock 'n roll is timeless and the new bands these days owe a TON to Devo!
