Just read an interesting NPR story about Asians in cinema and dear Long Duk Dong chimes in. Go here to read it. Can't believe he's 52 now! I remember meeting Gedde years ago in LA. It was at a cabaret bar and he was pretty drunk. It was some sort of open mic night and he got up and sang a song. I use the term “sang” and “song” liberally. I’m sure it wasn’t his proudest moment, but he was a nice guy and said he had fond memories being The Donger.
