Viva La Absolut!

Oh how I love a good controvery. And especially when it's about liquor! I think I'll go out and buy MORE Absolut...!

CAPTION: In this image released by the Mexican advertising firm of Teran/TBWA on Monday April 7, 2008, an advertisement created for Swedish Absolut Vodka which ran in Mexico, shows a map of the border of Mexico and the United States where it stood before the Mexican-American War of 1848. The Absolut vodka company apologized for the ad campaign amid angry calls for a boycott by U.S. consumers.

Weekend in Puebla, Mexico

This "NY Times" item makes me want to get on the first plane out of here...

"Drink like a local and try a pasita, a raisin-like liqueur made from the local pasa fruit. There's no better place to order it than La Pasita, a tiny bar hidden near the Callejon de los Sapos, a popular flea market street. Crammed with bric-a-brac, the signature liqueur is served in a shot glass with either goat or panela cheese."
