Everyone Pays

Truer words were never written in permanent signage!

Sometimes Graffiti is Funny

Sometimes graffiti is funny and well-deserved.
Yet another reason realtors shouldn't put their face on bus stops. They're BEGGING to get tagged.

Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

On a whim we went to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". It's such a charming movie, that I fell in love with it. The movie was a love letter to India, faults and all (the caucaphony of people in India is actually too much for me to ever want to visit). It was great fun seeing old pros like Judi Dench and Maggie Smith share the screen. And it's always a treat seeing Bill Nighy and Tom Wilkinson. The movie reminded me that life is short, take what you can get while you can. We all will end up dead in a wicker chair. And we can only hope for good uplighting and breathable linen when it's our turn. Me and the mister stopped for a bite at Miso before the picture show. I got a Miso Roll. Mmm, spicy goodness.

Eclipse

I tried to take a picture of the eclipse with my phone. Didn't work. I likely have permanent retinal damage too. But look at the bottom of the picture carefully. Looks like my backyard is on fire. Makes me wanna sing, "Come on baby, Light My Fire...try to set the nigbht on fiyaaaaaah..."
Same eclipse, but cool weird shadows through this plant. Almost a "dark" shadow, Barnabus.

Auburn Home Show

I've actually become obsessed with chickens. Ok, this is a picture of a rooster and not a chicken. But he was recently at the Auburn Home Show in, um, Auburn. His name is DeeOhGee (get it?) because he enjoys to be pet like a dog. I swear, when I retire I'm getting a coop and raising a couple of urban chickens.
The home show itself is on the grounds of the Auburn Fairgrounds. A nice setting, with the trees and outdoorness (is that a word?)
We started the day with the full American. The waffle was a bit undone, but with enough sweet syrup anything tastes good.
A perfect little 2-seater. I swear, it would fit in my doll-backyard.
And this Little Guy (that's the brand), I'd pick up in a heartbeat.
I guess some people dream big, but I dream little. They might be practical but they're still dreams and still mine. I won't change them and I love them!
