Paul Newman R.I.P.

A couple of note-worthy quotes:

1 - Mr. Newman told Playboy magazine, in an often-repeated quotation about marital fidelity, “I have steak at home; why go out for hamburger?”

2 - “We are such spendthrifts with our lives,” Mr. Newman once told a reporter. “The trick of living is to slip on and off the planet with the least fuss you can muster. I’m not running for sainthood. I just happen to think that in life we need to be a little like the farmer, who puts back into the soil what he takes out.”

How I Wish This was a Real Movie Trailer

I Want some Cool Hwhip!

Even in the shittiest of days at work - and there have been FUCKING MANY these days - any clip from Family Guy can make me laugh. Like Novocaine for my mind...

Damn, I wish I had some Cool Hwhip now...no, I'm not saying that funny...not even like a certain someone who says "orange" funny...

Rick Pics

I'm a huge disciple of Rick Steves!

I like to browse his website to see what new place he's blogging about. I found a corner of the site where he has promotional stuff for PBS stations across the countries. I like these 2 publicity stills.

Holy crap! Rick does the 1-arm photo pose too! That is so nerdy and cool at the same time.

Although, I didn't realize he was such a red-head. Click on it to enlarge. Wow! He's Ginger!

Here's Rick's 2-man crew. Rick tells of funny stories checking into small B&Bs with 3 men and 1 room. He gets eye-brows raised all the time.

I think the producer on the left is quite an eye-morsel.

Vertical Fish

Sorry, this is kind of disturbing yet funny at the same time.

CAPTION: Fish remain stuck in a fence after floodwaters caused by Hurricane Ike recede in West Orange, Texas.
